Vienna

Had a lovely week end with our friends from Austria, it went too quickly though! We walked around the city of Vienna on Sunday and saw so many cool little streets, hidden passages and some of the main sights of the city.  Good times with good company..will return again..

Some of the places we saw on our locals tour include:

St Charles Church
Burggarten
Rathaus and Burgtheatre
National Library
St Stephan Church
Esperanto Museum

The beautiful Vajdahunjad Castle in Budapest, had a really nice walk around the park before heading to the Szechenyi Thermal Bath!

Delicious food

A few days ago we went for lunch and had this amazing meat platter for 2 I think 4 ppl couldve eaten it as we only ate half the dish!

Hungary

After a 9 hour flight from Brisbane-Bangkok, a 3 hour wait at the airport, a 10 hour flight from Bangkok-Vienna, a 2 1/2 hour drive from Vienna to Hungary we are finally settled and got to see an amazing sunrise this morning (the sun was a big round raspberry coloured ball and it looked amazing!). Weather is very nice and still warm. Now we just have to get over the jetlag!

Burleigh byes

Less than 1 month to go and we'll be saying goodbye to our little pad in Burleigh. Will miss this place but looking forward to another Euro Trip!

It's been a while since I've wrote in here but I thought I would write a few dibs and dabs of what we've been up to since our move to Oxford in the UK 2008.

After our trip to Paris we decided on one more trip to Germany for a few days in August as it was also Att's dad's 60th birthday.

Att had some work to do in Berlin for one of the days so his dad and I went into the city and looked around at some of the touristy things again like the Fernsehturm, Unter den Linden, Brandenburger Tor, Rathaus, Alexanderplatz and the Reichstag.
